2007 Lambing Season

Lambing season went very well this year. All of the ewes lambed unassisted. There were many sets of triplets. While the majority of the lambs are white, there are several black, brown, red, and spotted lambs. Here are a few pictures of the 2007 lamb crop.

#22 with triplet black lambs
#22 is raising black triplets. Last
year, she had a caesarian section.

#24 with one of her twin ewe lambs
#24, last year's highest indexing ewe,
is raising twin ewe lambs this year.

#13 with two of her triplets
Last year's second highest indexing
ewe, #13, is raising triplets again.

#513 with her twin ewe lambs
#513 is raising twin ewe lambs. She was
last year's top performing yearling.

#426 with her twin ram lambs
#426 gave birth to a monster set of ram lambs.
They are going to make good stud rams.
